23-04-2009 - Blow-out occurred with Batch no. 9!!
For the first time alt all, I have experienced a blow-out with Batch no. 9 - Belgian Dubbel. Not at huge one, but 12L of foam on top of just 18L of fermenting wort is quite much!
21-04-2009 - Successful rooting of Opuntia microdasys cutting
Opuntia microdasys cutting obtained from a friend has rooted and has begun to grow. Only 18 days for rooting and initiating visible growth is quite fast. Who said that cacti are slow and boring plants ??

The webcam page is now transferred into the wiki. Automatic reload and user resizeability now works just like the old version.
05-04-2009 - Tasting notes from batch no. 7
Batch no. 7 has finished carbonating, and matured for about 1 week now.
29-03-2009 - Weissbier with frozen yeast
17L batch of Weissbier (wheatbeer) put on primary fermentation. Yeast-starter made from frozen yeast (Wyeast 3068 Weihenstephan). So far no problems. The frozen yeast is from a test-batch made to explore the possibility of establishing a yeast bank ....
